The program was organized by the Academic Advising and Guidance Unit and delivered by Dr. Israa Al-Dosouqi, targeting male and female students as well as members of the wider community.
The program comes as part of the college’s efforts to promote mental well-being and improve quality of life by helping participants understand the relationship between stress and both personal and professional performance, while equipping them with practical, evidence-based strategies to manage stress and achieve psychological balance.
The session covered several key topics, including an introduction to the concept of stress and its impact on performance, as well as the scientifically supported benefits of meditation and mindfulness. It also provided hands-on training in the Ziva meditation technique, recognized as an effective tool for enhancing focus, improving sleep quality, and increasing productivity.
In addition, the program focused on developing concentration skills and overall well-being, while highlighting the integration of mindfulness practices with Islamic principles such as prayer and reflection, fostering greater tranquility, mindfulness, and sustainable success on both personal and professional levels.
