The College of Engineering and Computer Science organized a training program titled “Visual Note-Taking in Revision and Learning” on Wednesday, April 19, 2026, targeting male and female students. The program was delivered by the Academic Guidance and Counseling Unit, led by Dr. Hind Mansy, as part of the college’s efforts to enhance modern learning skills and improve students’ comprehension efficiency.
The program aimed to enable participants to effectively use visual note-taking as a learning tool by transforming information into drawings, symbols, and mind maps that simplify content and strengthen understanding, while also supporting long-term memory retention. It also focused on using colors and visual organization to create creative, easy-to-understand, and easily retrievable notes.
The program included practical activities that enabled participants to convert academic content into structured visual representations, contributing to deeper understanding, improved recall and retention, and the development of creative and organizational thinking skills.
This initiative aligns with the college’s commitment to adopting innovative educational approaches that enhance the student learning experience and support modern study methods.
