The College of Engineering and Computer Science organized a training program titled “Artificial Intelligence and Decision-Making” on Sunday, February 8, 2026, targeting male and female students. The program was delivered by the Academic Guidance and Counseling Unit, led by Dr. Israa Al-Desouky, as part of the college’s efforts to equip students with future-ready skills in artificial intelligence and data analytics.

The program focuses on integrating artificial intelligence and data analysis concepts into the decision-making process. It introduced key areas such as machine learning models, intelligent systems, decision support systems, and predictive analytics. It also explored real-world applications of AI across various sectors, including business, cybersecurity, healthcare, and engineering, highlighting how data can be transformed into strategic and operational decisions.

In addition, the program addressed important ethical considerations related to artificial intelligence, including data quality and algorithmic bias, and their impact on the accuracy and reliability of decisions. This aimed to promote responsible and sustainable use of emerging technologies.

The program sought to enable participants to understand the role of artificial intelligence in supporting decision-making and enhance their ability to analyze data, interpret intelligent outputs, and make evidence-based decisions across technical and managerial fields.

A total of 23 male and female students participated in the program, reflecting strong interest in artificial intelligence and its future applications.
